Cat and Kitten Rescue

Every cat deserves a chance to live a safe, healthy, and loved life.

At Huntingdon TNR & Kitten Rescue, we rescue vulnerable kittens, pregnant mothers, abandoned cats, and cats facing uncertain futures. Through fostering, veterinary care, socialization, and adoption partnerships, we help cats move from crisis to comfort and from uncertainty to loving homes.

Who We Rescue

  • Orphaned and abandoned kittens
  • Pregnant mother cats
  • Injured or sick cats in need of care
  • Friendly community cats that can thrive as indoor companions

Foster-Based Care

We are a foster-based rescue, which means cats and kittens are cared for in loving homes rather than housed in a traditional shelter.

Foster homes provide safety, stability, daily socialization, medical monitoring, individualized care, and preparation for life as a family pet.

Veterinary Care

Before adoption, cats receive age-appropriate veterinary care, which may include:

  • Health examinations
  • Vaccinations
  • Spay or neuter surgery
  • Parasite treatment (deworming, fleas, etc.)
  • Additional medical care as needed

Preparing Cats for Adoption

Rescue is only the beginning of the journey. Many cats require time to recover, gain confidence, learn to trust people, or simply grow old enough for adoption.

Our goal is not simply to rescue cats—it is to help them succeed in their forever homes.

Adoption Partnerships

We proudly work alongside trusted adoption partners, including The Catio Cat Lounge, Tortitude Cat Café, and CASA Transport, to connect rescued cats and kittens with loving families.
